Meet Danielle...

Danielle Kent is an esteemed SLP, leader of Teaching & Raising Problem Solvers, and mom of two kids with "amazing brains".

She realized early in her career that what many were calling ‘behaviors’ were actually stress signals of underdeveloped or not yet developed self-regulation skills.

Because of this revelation, she went from feeling frustrated and overwhelmed to peacefully present and aware of what was happening with her students and with her own kids.

Over her career, Danielle has seen the true power of what co-regulation can do for parents and professionals — and she's turned it into the Teaching & Raising Problem Solvers programming she leads today...

...and in this episode of making the shift, you get to learn from her life's work in regulation for free.

Learn how to help your kids develop self-regulation in a healthy and fair way.

In this episode, we'll explore:

✔ The real differences between co-regulation & self-regulation (many people misconstrue these)...

✔ How kids actually learn to self-regulate (hint: this is one of the biggest misconceptions people hold today…)

✔ What are fair expectations to place on children of different ages and developmental periods…

✔ When and how to teach self-regulation

✔ How having an incorrect understanding of this can lead to negative emotional outcomes for a child…

✔ Why knowing this information can help you help them develop self-regulation skills more quickly...
